About me

hello There! I am a recent graduate of University of Guelph’s Food Science Honours program, with a minor in Business Administration. I love food, and I love Science, so I made the decision at 23 to go to University after travelling for awhile to find myself. I found that I still love to travel, and I am currently based in Melbourne Australia. 


Product development is my preferred stream in the Food Science River, but my passion is also food security, waste/ inefficiency reduction and leading multi-disciplinary teams with both achievable goals and big dreams. Poverty and hunger reduction is something I deeply care about, and I believe access to nutritious, safe food is a human right. I believe in educating myself constantly through formal education, volunteering and life experiences; meeting people of all walks of life and treating others with kindness and respect, the greatest renewable resources that cost us nothing to give to others. 


My dream job would be to run a business that allows me to travel,  create, educate, and contribute good into the world through food. Food brings not only us as human beings together, but also represents our relationship with the planet. Working in a company that strives to make the world a better place and minimize negative impacts on the environment and communities is very important to me. I hope that my core values and tenacity will help companies achieve great things, and I thank you for taking time to read this and consider me as a potential part of your team or network.
