Masters Student - Food and AgriBusiness Management
Hello!
I'm Senthamizh Priya from India. I have a bachelors degree in Agricultural Science and I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Food and Agribusiness Management from France. This combination of backgrounds made me hugely interested in the food sector. I firmly believe that food is the single most critical lever that needs to be optimised to stir the world towards a more sustainable future and this made me to be drawn in the alternate-protein sector particularly the plant based movement.
I'm currently looking forward to start my professional career in this sector to contribute my obtained skills to promote food responsibly.

This Master's allows me to
Strengthen theoretical knowledge (Supply Chain, Marketing, Agribusiness, Finance, Strategy, CSR, Food Innovations, etc.) to deal with the ever-growing Food and Agribusiness Sectors and find more sustainable options in overcoming issues related to the sector.
Develop practical knowledge (Global Marketing, Research Methods, International Strategy, Sustainability, Food Design and Innovation, Management, Business ethics, etc.) to perform the tasks required by these sectors.
While giving a broader perspective on the Food and Agribusiness sector, this Master's degree, above all, helped to enhance my creativity and lifted my curiosity to develop environmentally sustainable solutions in food consumption, and inspired me to become a conscious consumer.
The Bachelor's Degree helped me to:
Understand ways of improving crop production and gain overall knowledge concerning agriculture and related field
Develop a connection between theory and practical solutions in Agriculture through scientific experiments and analysis, thereby helping to find sustainable consumption solutions through agriculture.
Acquire skills in conducting research, working in the agricultural field, conducting field surveys, and managing different farming practices.
This degree also offered me insights about Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship, consequently helping me gain essential Marketing and Managerial skills.
My duties included:. Assist in supervision activities of harvesting, packaging, and storage of flowers. Assist in forecasting of financial planning and analysis. Initiating digitalisation. Scheduling daily activities for workers. Identifying problems and communicating solutions. Assisting in logistic operations
My duties included:. Designing the product package. Conducting interviews to test product preference. Closely working with the production team. Offering suggestions and solutions. Checking feasibility of the product. Assist in planning an effective marketing strategy. Selling the product in workshops.
My duties include:. Managing client's proposals. Developing concepts, graphics and layout (company logos, illustrations). Creating rough drafts on agreed brief. Designing portfolios to explain design processes. Finalizing design with mock-ups. To be connected with the management
This certification proves my proficiency of English Language.

. We provided an innovative solution for the huge amount of post harvest vegetable loss in Nigeria, which at the same time improves biodiversity, provides value to farmers and vendors.
