Brief Job Description:

The successful individual will perform daily shift supervisor duties in our Rollstock Department.

Detailed Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Health & Safety in the workplace
  • Adherence to Quality standards
  • Interacts with internal customers
  • Responsible for reporting and addressing food safety issues
  • Participate in or design continuous improvement initiatives
  • Execute the daily production plan
  • Manage employee relations; both recognition and progressive discipline
  • Monitor inventory and adjust production to orders
  • Ensure timely and concise communication with hourly associates
  • Ensure employee training goals and programs are maintained and skill matrix is current
  • Ensure productivity and efficiency goals are achieved
  • Monitor and manage all maintenance, safety and sanitation programs for compliance and frequency
  • Ensure optimal labour and machine utilization
  • Mentor and coach hourly associates to improve skills and performance
  • Promote a healthy quality of life for employees
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with strong organizational skills
  • Flexible
  • Ability to lead and motivate
  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience
  • Food experience preferred
  • First Aid certification preferred
  • Computer literate
  • Mechanically inclined

Education and/or Experience:

Completion of post secondary education in manufacturing/production management or a related field of study; and/or equivalent related work experience.
