Behaving with Integrity

Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.

This is one of the most valuable life lesson I have ever learned. And during my tenure at Tims, this quote governed my every decision. And I learned this in spades from the senior management! Most folks do the right thing if they think that someone else is watching. Or it might end up on the front page of major newspaper. But what if no one is watching? Would you make the same decision?

As you move through your career, imagine that every decision you make will be a head liner. Always try to do the right thing. Look for win/win situations always. Don’t hoard information.

Try to connect with others to find a solution. Give credit to those who earn it. Trust me, it feels good when both parties win.

Karma always finds it’s way, good or bad.
