A brief description of my duties are the following:
• Lead a team of 10-15 people in the manufacturing department.
• Coordinated and organized the team into smaller groups to handle all manufac- turing processes such as harvest, drying, unloading, trimming, and sorting the product in a time sensitive manner.
• Quick response and effective problem solving in various situations in dealing with machine malfunction, personnel shortage, and deadlines.
• Strategically planned and allocated resources daily in response to the needs of the company.
• Engaged in initiatives such as Kizen to come up with solutions that led to increased productivity and coordination throughout all teams.
• Collaborated with the other teams within the High Park towards continued im- provement that would promote success within the department and company which eventually led to overachieving annual goal manufacturing goals within months.
• Trained team members for continued growth and success within the company.
My duties as a bartender included the following:
• Managed bar area including, inventory, regulation compliance, and high quality customer relationships to increase restaurant value and dinning experience.
• Maintained sanitation and food safety guidelines
• Trained employees in bartending and serving as well as managing the inventory and maintenance of the bar.
• Maintaining FIFO protocol, tracking stock flow and providing feedback to assist with forecasting for the future in regards to product needs.
My duties as a student supervisor for two summers included the following duties:
• Managed a staff of 40 people ensuring all aspects of environmental services were carried out professionally and within the scope of the Ministry of Health guidelines.
• Organized general, operating room, and emergency patient transfers while ensuring all admitted patients had a safe clean environment to recover in until they were released.
• Quick response and effective problem solving in various environments such as the emergency department, operating area and main floors when met with unexpected patient conditions and other environmental changes
