I enjoy food! I say this because I love every step of the process from growth to digestion. More specifically, I want to gain more hands on experience in the product development industry. In undergrad, I spent a year developing a recipe using a product for a company then taking what I learned to make a product of my own. My educational hands-on experience includes working with a salad dressing in two different capacities through trial and error, conducting tastes tastings to learn the customers palette, and creating surveys to access the customers wants. Gaining knowledge through a professional environment should be my next step.Â
Gained an emphasis in Food Science through cooking labs and in class learning.Â
Before applying to a Meal Management course, students had to obtain the certificate to show that they knew the kitchen and the proper way to handle food.
