I am a recent graduate of the Class of 2020 from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. I studied a mixture of both personal and corporate finance, mostly dealing with financial analytics, working mainly with Microsoft Excel.
Responsible for overseeing the hockey league in Hamilton, including player registration, game scheduling, player discipline (when necessary), and competitive team balancing throughout the league. Assisted marketing and sales strategies leading to 150% growth in league participation. Organized league-wide events at local establishments for league community of 100+ people. Fostered partnership opportunities with local Hamilton businesses, gaining sponsorships from Red Bull, Social Lite, Cottage Springs, and Pink's Burgers.
Assisted in the streamlining of the financial process for the company’s various residential reports. Attended meetings, and summarized content for management.Represented the company at trade shows, interacting with clientele and informing them of products/services offered.Assisted in informational presentations at numerous real estate brokerages across the GTA.Conducted research and created databases highlighting real estate brokerages in the GTA and respective demographics.
Responsible for installing and take-down of large tents for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. Put in charge of directing a group of 5-7 employees during tent installation.Responsible for leading the morning shift (6:00 a.m. start time) and ensuring co-workers arrived in a timely manner.Ensured appropriate equipment/supplies were loaded onto each truck to guarantee proper/efficient completion of each job site.Interacted with the clients and provided coworkers with a detailed layout of each job site to ensure that the location of the tent coincided with the client’s requirements.
