I am a novice professional with meaningful experience and sturdy education on engineering principles, biological procedures, and agricultural practices. I aspire to become a professional food engineer; optimizing fresh food production, water usage, farming, and sustainable agriculture.
I am developing my own research project that studies the characterization of the pore structure of granular material under storage ecosystem conditions affected by different physical factors, including moisture content, inter-particle interaction, particle size, and dockage distribution using non-destructive x-ray and image analysis.
I graduated with a specialization in Biosystems engineering which provides a framework for integrating fundamental engineering sciences and practice with biological sciences. The curriculum prepares students for advanced studies in biomedical engineering, bioprocess engineering, and agricultural engineering and fulfills many of the requirements for admission to medical, dental, and veterinary professional programsÂ
Performing an integral role in developing and executing projects for the growth of the faculty’s undergraduate programs, as well as fostering important relationships that the institution has with industry, stakeholders, and alumni.

• Organized didactic material based on discernment and understanding of curriculum guidelines, delivering lessons to students in both synchronous and asynchronous virtual mode using web-based learning platforms fostering collaboration, imagination, and learning.• Conducted IT skills gap analysis as well as role-specific training on programs and tools both teachers and students use daily in response to adapting to new e-learning methods and challenges.
During my time in BrightView Landscape services, I had the opportunity to learn from professionals in the field through workshops, supervised practices, and professional seminars. In addition, I was able to:• Engage in diverse workshops and technical training organized by managers and supervisors from different departments learning valuable knowledge on OSHA Safety protocols, Lean Six Sigma principles, ISO protocols, SQL data analysis, CAD engineering design, among others.• Develop theoretical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on irrigation systems including manipulation of electronic controllers, decoders, pressurized valves, an inspection of wire systems, maintenance of industrial and residential pumps, etcetera.• Participate in didactic activities both learning and training personnel in financial forecast development, engineering design, pathogen identification in vegetation, mixing of chemicals and pesticides, safety inspections, etcetera.
As a Telecommunication consultant and customer service agent, my main role was to:• Display valuable bilingual skills, multitasking technological skills, and critical thinking in order to assist customers by responding to concerns and solving technical issues including network signal connection, residential internet connection, equipment installation, etcetera.
The Outstanding Student Award recognizes an outstanding undergraduate student member of the
American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) who excels scholastically
and shows community involvement through participation in professional, local, regional, or
international activities as demonstrated by activities and/or offices held
