Collaborated with the QualityAssurance (QA) team on risk factors for the Food Safety Modernization Act forthe Food & Drug Administration (FDA), which mitigated food adulteration andprovided guidance to my supervisor of areas of concern. · · Assisted the QA teamwith the upcoming British Retail Consortium (BRC) issue eight audit, assistedwith the HACCP team as needed and reported to the QA & HACCP Supervisor.
Facilitatedweekly inspections to confirm the processing plant and employees were followingGMP’s, HACCP, BRC and peanut-free requirements. · · Verifiedoperational employee reports on equipment sanitation, product ingredientcomposition and the appropriate completion of the pasteurizer process.
· Performedsampling procedures on wheat to evaluate the amount of sprout damage (i.e.falling number test) to ensure grain conformity for various food products.· Communicated with the Quality Assurance team toconfirm the analysis of the grain sample was completed in a specified timeframeand all grain samples were organized appropriately.
