.I am a 30 years old graduate with keen interest in Food security, Agri-business and livelihood related projects. I am a holder of a Bachelor of Agriculture Honours Degree in Agriculture Science honours in Crop Science, and an Executive Certificate of Programme and Project Monitoring and Evaluation and Masters of Science in Food Processing Systems and Technology. I have chosen to make a contribution towards my career path, through researches in, food security, Agriculture and livelihoods projects. I have taken interest in this position because of the organisational background which deals with livelihood, agriculture and this is particularly the field, i intend to build my career specialty in.
TheBesides my academic achievements I command almost 4 years of experience in thefield. The recent experience is at Munakiri Leaf Tobacco as the Project Officer,followed by the VISET experience as the volunteer field officer. At VISET, Imanaged to acquire certain skill set that deals with public communication as wewere mostly doing field campaigns and workshops. At Cairns foods as a productionclerk under CAIRLO logistic contracts, my duties were to use the Microsoftoffice 365 package, sage system and voucher payment system to acquire rawmaterials from warehouse and to process client’s payment who provided the rawmaterials. A year at Tongaat Huletts in Chiredzi as a student intern, learningthe sugarcane production and sugarcane processes in Zimbabwe.
This background hasgroomed me to be a highly innovative person with sound technical skills andexperience.As to my uprising, I managed to acquire an excellent set of valuesand skills such as integrity, honesty, reliability, quick learning competenceand ability to work under pressure.
