With campuses in Oshawa and Whitby, Durham College (DC) offers more than 12,000 full-time post-secondary and apprenticeship students access to more than 140 full-time and part-time programs in a number of different disciplines, enabling them to develop the skills required to meet the demands of today's job market.

The W. Galen Weston Centre for Food follows the field-to-fork concept which is based on the planting, growing, harvesting, storage, processing, packaging, sale and consumption of food in particular the production of local food for local consumers. Durham College has adopted this concept and applied it to a diverse range of programs that crossover traditional academic schools with the curriculum, faculty expertise and equipment required to implement field to fork built into several of the colleges programs.
