These days, we all need to be smart about the way we use our own personal data.
If you are a Jobseeker or Employer located in the Canada or United States you are entering into the User Agreement with FoodGrads Ltd, who will be responsible for your personal data provided to, or collected by or for, our Services.
Our Services allow you to explore careers, evaluate educational or job opportunities, and seek out, and be found for, career opportunities. Your profile can be found by those looking to hire (for a job or a specific task) or be hired by you.
You can submit your resume or profile information when interested in a job opportunity or need to share information with employers. We may use your profile and activity to recommend jobs to you and you to employers or recruiters.
Our Employer Services allow paying users (employers within the industry) to search for and contact our FoodGrad members through our services, such as searching for and contacting job candidates, manage talent and promote content through social media.
Our industry clients can export limited information from your profile, such as name, experience, current company, current title, and general location (e.g., Toronto). Our industry clients can store information collected about you in our Employer Services, such as a resume or contact information.
Registration and Creating a Profile
An account is created by providing data which includes your name, email address and/or mobile number, and a password. When you return to the site in the future you will use that same email address and password to access and edit your existing resume.
If you register as a business, we ask you for payment (e.g., credit card) and billing information.
Creating a FoodGrads profile will potentially put you in front of thousands of employers with open positions. When you create a FoodGrads profile you will have choices about the information you provide, such as your education, work experience, skills, photo and area. The more complete information provided will allow you to obtain more from our Services, including helping recruiters and business opportunities find you.
It’s your choice whether to include sensitive information on your profile. Please do not post or add personal data to your profile that you would not want to be publicly available.
Our business clients are required to provide a profile on their company and to share details on job posting opportunities.
Any information you include on your profile and any content you post or social action you take on our Services will be seen by others. (Nicole, not all info posted by Food companies are seen by students?)
