Food Processing Labourer
We are hiring a dedicated, high-performance food production labourer to join ourteam. This hybrid role balances active material handling, manual packaging, and line cleanup with floor coordination, new hire guidance, and daily compliance tracking. The ideal candidate will ensure that raw materials are accurately prepared against strict customer orders and will actively assist management in maintaining a safe, productive, and audit-ready processing floor.Manually handle, measure, and prepare raw meat materials and production ingredients, feeding them into processing, mixing, or grinding equipment to maintain a steady operational flow.Sort and manually pack processed meat products into bags, boxes, or protective food-safe containers, and securely stack finished goods onto pallets.Review active work orders and production tags to check specific raw material requirements, ensuring the physical line output matches targeted customer specifications.Assist the Production Supervisor in setting daily line priorities, managing raw material inventory levels, and coordinating shift tasks to hit strict production volume goals..Support the onboarding of new personnel by assisting in floor orientation, providing daily procedural guidance, and ensuring team members have clean tools and instructions.Clean, sanitize, and maintain processing areas, tools, and surfaces according to strict food safety protocols, and verify that the line team adheres to high hygiene standards.Conduct continuous visual and physical checks on raw materials, components, and final packaging to identify basic quality defects or variations from company standards.Guide the line team in strictly following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) to ensure an injury-free floor.Keep highly accurate daily performance logs, material tracking sheets, and temperature/weight records to support internal company auditing and supervisor reviews.Liaise actively between processing stations, material handlers, and supervisors to communicate operational updates, report supply shortages, and maintain a seamless production line.Language: EnglishEducation: College/CEGEP or equivalent experienceExperience: 1 year to less than 2 yearsOnsite: work must be completed at the Physical locationCertificates, licences, memberships, and coursesForklift Operator CertificationWorkplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) CertificateBenefits: Dental Plan, Disability benefits, Vision Care benefits, Life insurance, Other benefits.
